Stops
Start in Saintes-Maries
Start from Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer. The sea dyke links the village to Salin-de-Giraud and gives access to about 20 kilometres of paths along the reserve’s coast.
The Gacholle lighthouse
Here is the Gacholle lighthouse, built in 1882 on the dyke. At its foot, volunteers from the Société nationale de protection de la nature welcome visitors. Remember: in the reserve only the dyke and the beach are open, on foot or by bike; hunting, fishing, picking plants and camping are forbidden.
